Fun Photo Friday: Jersey Shore Edition

As i've missed the last couple weeks of this thanks to my company limiting our internet, i knew i had to get back on the FPF train today! AND yes, i'm at work, AND on the net... i'm SUCH a rebel! hee hee.

ANYWHO. A decade ago, before Jersey Shore was a show on MTV, it was the place to be all summer, every summer. My friends and i used to live spend time down there. The music's and the guidos are still the same but since then, we've gotten old matured. My pretty friend on my far right even has two little adorable girls... Our favorite stomping grounds were down in Seaside but before Karma even existed! The place was called Temptations or Temps... we also used to hit up Bamboo & Merge, which are still there... Those were the days of staying out all night, dancing, drinking, flirting  and coming home when the sun was coming up...

You'll notice for the most part, we're pretty dressed down... Literally wearing sweats and totally casual. The reason being? We were there to dance.... We didn't care about boys, about drinking, or about hooking up... we were there to work our assets out on the dance floor... Sunday nights were famous for their party with resident DJ Denny Tsettos... who was HUGE in his day for spinning the sickest house/techno music... and you guessed it... making everybody there throw their hands in the air and bust out a fist pump or two. The video below is at Karma, and was a Tempts reunion... such a throwback to the good old days!

Oh and BTW, the girl to my left... not in the current circle of friends anymore... sometimes best friends DON'T last forever. And so we move on... hence the mad face in case you were wondering.

Even though things have changed over the years, i would totally love to go back to one of those crazy dance-your-ass off and not have a care in the world nights... just let the music flow through you and i guarantee that fist will soon be in the air... *wink*

Fun Photo Fridays... Pup Edition

Linking up again this week with my girl Shannon over at Page Twenty-Two for Fun Photo Fridays. And THANK God Its FRIIIIIIIDAY!!! Even though this week was "short" it seemed way long. Agree?

Anyway, today i'm going back in time to the day i got my first precious little pup scooter. why, yes, i have an unhealthy obsession with my fur children. i may or may not cuddle them like babies, talk to them constantly and treat them like humans. But what can i say... how could you not be in love with this little face?

please ignore the "stoned" look in my eyes... i had just gotten home from a business trip and was exhausted... isn't he such a cute little pip squeaker!!!

we had just given him a bath since he arrived stinking to high hell...

yes we got him from a breeder in missouri, so he had arrived safe and sound at newark airport and we picked him up there... poor little guy was practically comatose from being hypoglycemic.

i immediately gave him some special sugar aka "yum yums" and he perked right up!

he's big enough now that i don't have to do that, but still gets excited when he hears the words yum yums. LOL

tonight we have dinner in staten italy island for my mother in laws 80th!

tomorrow we're off to visit G's friends and their kids and then to hang with my college bestie and her fam for HER bday... cross your fingers that the snow holds out for us!

also, need lots of prayers that G lands the dream job he applied for last week!

Weird iPhone Photo Memories

Thought it would be fun to put up some (more) iphone pics that i've taken.
Do y'all store all your photos in your phone? I can't seem to part with my 8 million photos of my dogs precious pics...

let me tell you peeps, i have some SERIOUSLY weirdo photos.

i like dog butts and i cannot lie... just kidding, but really? dog butt. one that only his mother could possibly think is cute enough to photograph. what i was planning on doing with this one of a kind photo, we will never know. re-purposed to share with you all. exciting.....

kissing hot "dog" salt & pepper shakers. i think i was contemplating stealing these at the time. but i swear, i didn't. i like the hot dog place too much to ever be possibly banned from there. but seriously, who wouldn't want these...

oh, here's a good one. this is my AC vent in my office at work. do you like my handi work? that my friends is a shit load of packaging/duct tape and stuffed inside is about 20 feet of bubble wrap. When you want something done right, sometimes ya just gotta do it yourself, i always say. My HVAC mechanic boyfriend disagrees with my methods of blocking off the vent (or the air thingy as i like to call it) but i tell you, its darn effective. well, that and my work snuggie. no lie. its on the back of my chair. fa-shion-a-ble.

This was a photo i snapped while driving home one day. Pulled up right next to this "cleaning truck". Yeaaaahhhh, suuuuuure. naturally i had to send this to everyone in my phone book and ask what they serviced. #guttermind

Can i tell you, Asians are just so SMART (and i'm not just saying that because i am fake asian). 3 words for ya, SUSHI. CONVEYOR. BELT. i mean, you sit and just watch the delicious sushi encircle you, what could be better for a fat kid like me... if you ever happen to find yourself in Tysons Corner, Virginia, you're gonna wanna stop here.

This guy was channeling his inner Alan, "its not a purse, its a satchel"... seen getting on a flight to Miami.

This is my car dashboard. And that little light that looks like a butt. I now know that means "Low Tire Pressure" which means you should PROBABLY pull over because shits going down with your wheels. Good thing i pulled over, pulled out the MANUAL for my car and looked that up on the side of the road one morning on my way into work.

Who doesn't love St Patty's Day socks with little mugs of beer on them! Apparently i do, so much that i felt the need to photograph them.

I took this one to send to my friend to help me make sure there were no other moves i could make. Looking at it now its funny that the remaining letters spell "u coc" once again #guttermind

Anyway, i hope you enjoyed the weird things i get some sick pleasure out of photographing. i do have lots of more normal photos but i figured that after 5 pics of the dogs and 12 pics of my nails in every shade imaginable, this would be much more fun! Do you have any wacky photos in your phone?
