Finally Friday!

Dear Google Reader: I'm completely annoyed that you are shutting down in a few months. Now i have to find another way to read the 200+ blogs on my reader. Yes, i know there are other options out there... but there are none that i'm really in love with. I liked that i could read entire posts within your site without having to go to the original unless i wanted to comment. Yes, sometimes you're a PITA, but please.... don't go...

but since it's happening, i just sent all my blogs to bloglovin'.... so follow me here.

Dear Husband: Boy you REALLY pissed me off yesterday. You're lucky I won't see you til tomorrow. And you should remember one key thing... happy wife=happy life. Period. End of story. (and ok, i MAY be being a bit dramatic, but its just courteous to tell someone who's running YOUR errands that the Rx they are picking up is at a pharmacy you NEVER use. That way the super sweet nice person running YOUR errands does not go to the wrong pharmacy. TWICE.)

Dear Dunkin Donuts: Sorry i had to fly by you on my way to work this morning. But this girl was just running too late to be able to stop for some of your deliciousness. You KNOW that strawberry frosted donut was straight up calling to me.... instead i ~~enjoyed~~ endured a 100cal granola bar. Bleh.

Dear Paycheck: Thanks for getting here today, but i really need you to be BIGGER. Like A LOT bigger. Can we somehow work on that? Mama needs some new spring clothes and with $2,000 vet bills, that's not happening anytime soon. SO, unless i get a second job ~~selling my body~~ we need to work on how to increase you.

Dear Readers: I hope you'll continue to follow me once Google Reader ends up in the shitter. It would be much appreciated. I love the "friends" I've made so far and can't wait to meet some of you in person!

Another Wednesday...

Howdy folks!

Another wednesday is upon us,
so i'm linking up today since it's been a while...

I'm loving....

that i was able to squeeze my non-working out ass into my super skinny jeans today

(with only minimal muffin top). you know its going to be a great day when you have mornings like that. (side note: i may have done the squat, lunge, stretch dance around the house all morning to get these babies to loosen up a little, but they look fab!)

that my husband "cooked me breakfast" this morning before work.

this may have consisted of him cooking HIMSELF only breakfast, and then cutting off a quarter of his omlette and giving me 1 strip of bacon, but hey, beggars can't be choosers.

the Optimum app for iphone which allows you to make your phone into the TV remote when you're on your home network. this comes in handy to change the channel when your spouse is not looking, and have him wonder what the F is wrong with the tv until he looks over and sees you with the shit-faced grin in the corner aiming your phone at the tv. hee hee hee... got him TWICE this week!

that after a day of pouring rain, we have a gorgeous sunny day today!
now if we could just get those temps up another 10º i'll be perfectly content.

that i taught myself HMTL coding and designed my brother's new business website from soup to nuts! AND it doesn't even look like something a 4-yr old did. it looks totally professional and legit.

and last...

that i got a new wok over the weekend and made a yummy chicken stir-fry last night.
#asiansdoitbetter (yep, just made that up). i told gary that it came out so good because i was asian, therefore i can cook asian food well. i then proceeded to try to talk in the most awful "asian" accent ever. #fail.

Wearing: A navy cardigan and brown UGGs (since its a snowy day)

Reading: nothing... i'm in between books. need to start Crossfire #2 ASAP!

Watching: Finally caught up on WTA the other night... not sure how i felt about what went down with Sean and AshLee, totally awkward! And Tierra is just ridiculous. Nuff said. Have tons of Nashville, Revenge and Grey's to catch up on... oh and we can't forget Duck Dynasty. love those rednecks!

Thinking about: Beauty products. No lie. Since I gave up buying any for Lent, i think about what i will be buying as soon as March 31st hits. Sorry, i'm not sorry.

Looking forward to: my hubby getting his Lasik in a couple weeks. I can't tell you how much money we've spent on replacing glasses/prescription sunnies that he's lost... and lost... and lost...

Cooking: Nothing interesting lately. I haven't been meal planning, so i haven't been cooking. #failfailfail. Need to get back on the bandwagon and pin some yummy recipes.
